Welcome to Shadfly Antiques. We are located in beautiful Port Dover Ontario, on the north shore of Long Point Bay, Lake Erie. Long Point was designated by the United Nations as a world biosphere protected site in 1986, and Port Dover was once home to the world's largest fresh water fishing fleet. You can still walk on the pier, look out across the bay, and sometimes see the fishing tugs returning with their catch of the day. Fresh Lake Erie perch and pickerel is a delicacy offered by many local restaurants.

Just a three block walk from the beach you will find Shadfly Antiques; A surprisingly rich and diverse shop with emphasis on quality, early furnishings in original finishes, unique handmade objects that may be found in an early Canadian home, vintage Canadian Fine Art and Folk Art. Our selection includes early pottery, decoys, hooked rugs, quilts, native artifacts and baskets, and other unusual items of artistic merit. The shop is not for everyone, as unfortunately we do not have enough room to include much in the way of collectibles, nostalgia, glass wear, or other mass produced items.

Shadfly Antiques is owned and operated by Phillip and Jeanine Ross who have over thirty years experience in the antiques trade. In addition to their own stock they draw from the expansive collections of four long time associates to bring you a regularly updated, and consistently high quality inventory. You can purchase any of the items represented here on our web site, but this selection is only a small portion of what's available in our shop.
